What does it take to leave a group of worldly doctors awe-struck?

As you listen to these doctors express their shock and amazement about what they heard and saw, we know you will share our sense of appreciation for the amazing faith they encountered.  Like us, you will probably feel an even greater sense of appreciation for the spirit of the Haitian people as they continue to struggle through their country’s slow recovery from the recent earthquake.
NPR Radio Report:
Clearly, the testimony of their actions in the hospital is moving in the hearts of these doctors, and we pray that God will continue to use them as instruments of blessing and conversion among all those they encounter.

Ironically, the medical program these doctors were visiting benefitted from Cross International Catholic Outreach’s relief efforts in Haiti.  We supplied it with medicines, a hospital tent and other equipment to this same center within days of the disaster.  If you donated to that special appeal for Haiti, you had a role in the outreach too!

What is next for Haiti?  As you have probably seen in the news this week, there is still a lot to be done; particularly in the effort to providing housing for those living in the flimsy tent cities that have been erected since the earthquake.  Perhaps this is an area you and you family can support.  If so, here is a link to more details on how you can become involved.

As this NPR radio report has revealed, Haiti’s poor have demonstrated an amazing faith in Christ during the worst of this ordeal.  Please help us reward their convictions about God’s love by demonstrating through our response to their need.

And may our Lord be glorified again!
