The Cross Alliance Represents
A Unified Outreach to Help the Poor

Christ's call to care for for the poor and suffering is an area of ministry virtually all Christian faiths embrace. It is, in fact, a "common ground" upon which we all meet. It is a unifying purpose under God and for His glory. The Cross Alliance represents this shared vision. Our participants hold strongly to their personal beliefs while eagerly coming to this "common ground" to participate in a shared Christian ministry of service.

The Cross International Alliance is currently composed of two closely associated ministry partners – Cross International Catholic Outreach, an organization structured to provide more direct focus for Catholics and Cross International, an ecumenical organization with both Roman Catholic and Protestant leadership. Key members of Cross International Catholic Outreach's board also serve on the board of directors for Cross International, ensuring the continuity and impact of their shared goals.

Both of these organizations provide aid to the poor regardless of their religious beliefs, and both are able to accept restricted contributions from contributors who would like their particular gifts to go to the work of a specific denomination (a Catholic orphanage, a Baptist-run feeding program, etc.)

When the projects we support are completed, we can all experience the triumph of God's power revealed. Together, through our outreach to the poor, we can discover the powerful promise of Isaiah 58:6, "Then your light will break forth like the dawn and your healing will quickly appear... Then you will call and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help and He will say: Here am I"
