Catholic Youth can change the world!

cross catholic collaborates with ncea to help the poorest of the poor:

Cross Catholic Outreach and The National Catholic Educational Association are collaborating to help the poorest of the poor! Vowing to break the cycle of poverty by putting our faith into action and sharing the Holy Spirit’s transformative power, these two organizations will spread the Gospel, engage in meaningful prayer, seek donations and work together on charitable projects of mutual interest.

World Food Day - October 16th

October 16th is World Food Day, a worldwide event designed to increase awareness and alleviate hunger. Cross Catholic Outreach invites your school and parish to stand in solidarity with Catholic students around the U.S. as we raise funds to ship life-saving food for hungry orphans, the elderly and poverty-stricken families in desperate need of nourishment.

Last year, nearly 50,000 students representing over 150 Catholic schools and parishes across the country participated in World Food Day and together provided over 200,000 meals for the hungry. October 16th will be a special day of prayer and provision for those in need of food—and a great way to share with youth the importance of practicing their faith in love and service to the poor.

Cross Catholic Outreach will provide solidarity bracelets, posters and flameless candles to use in assembly on World Food Day.

Every seven seconds, a child dies from hunger-related causes. Every single day, one billion people go hungry. Join us on October 16th as Cross Catholic Outreach teams up with your Catholic school and parish to stand in solidarity and fight world hunger.

Catholic youth can change the world through this powerful act of Christian charity – prayer and provision for the “least of these.”

Works of Mercy

Cross Catholic Outreach is proud to announce the Works of Mercy, a teacher’s guide for schools and parishes – K thru 12th grade! This free seven-part lesson plan is a comprehensive and systematic presentation of Catholic beliefs in the spiritual works of mercy. The lesson plans help students grow in their personal relationship with God, become knowledgeable about their Catholic faith, and integrate these beliefs and traditions into their personal lives, fulfilling both the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
