Our Impact

In Mozambique, AIDS, poverty and other hardships have deprived countless children of mothers and fathers. Cross Catholic Outreach has been working with Association Cross Mozambique (ACM) to reach the country’s most vulnerable orphans and give them critically needed aid including food, health care, education and spiritual formation.

Cross Catholic Outreach works throughout the developing world to meet the basic needs of orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children. Our goal is to cultivate young hearts and minds for the Lord, to bring the poor spiritual peace and to unleash the potential of boys and girls to achieve a more prosperous future. We make this outreach a priority because the sooner vulnerable children are reached, the more likely they will escape the self-destructive behaviors created by their early childhood traumas.  Love overcomes fear and opens the door to hope and opportunity.

In 2015, we provided grants for 30 projects, and shipped material aid to five partners, ultimately assisting and empowering orphans and vulnerable children in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. A portion of that funding helped St. Pierre Parish in central Haiti minister to the physical and spiritual needs of about 300 at-risk children, many of whom are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. We also reached out to orphans and vulnerable children through a Catholic lay organization in the deeply impoverished country of Mozambique.
