Delivering Food, Shelter, and Hope to the Poorest of the Poor.

REV. WILLIAM J. HOWER

 Priest
Originally from Chicago Illinois, Father Hower completed his theological training at the Seminary of Saint Francis de Sales in Milwaukee, WI. He was ordained to the priesthood in the Cathedral of Saint Raphael in Madison on May 30, 1964.

Fr. Hower served in several parishes in the State of Wisconsin before joining the Wisconsin Air National Guard where he rose to the position of Chaplain Lieutenant Colonel from which he retired in 1998. While serving with the Military, Fr. Hower served at various bases in the USA and Europe and was deployed to Cuba to serve the "Braseros" and later to Italy in support of the peace keeping force in Bosnia. Most recently he served as Pastor at St. Joseph in Edgerton WI.

From his very early days of training Fr. Hower has had a great love for music, having sung with choirs through grade school, high school and seminary. He now has a particular interest in liturgical and classical music.

Fr. Hower's service and commitment to the poor are the passions which now motivate him as he continues to serve those in the developing world through the work of Cross Catholic Outreach.
