And Prepares for Rebuilding Efforts
Great things are possible when committed Catholics work together to meet a need! Early contributions to our special relief effort have already allowed us to begin distributing a million meals to typhoon victims. This support has also funded a huge container of medicines for the area, and is allowing our partners “in the trenches” to fund their special outreaches into storm-ravaged communities.
Your continued support of the priests, nuns and Catholic lay leaders already at work in the Philippines is crucial – and they are deeply grateful for the help.

In this stage of the relief effort, our focus continues to be on food and medical relief, but work is also underway on programs to clear debris and provide shelter. As always, we give our ministry partners the control and flexibility they need to address the many problems they encounter. Our role is to support their efforts as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
In addition to this emergency relief stage, Cross Catholic Outreach also plans to be involved in the rebuilding and restoration phases which will follow. In the week ahead, please pray for our partnering priests, nuns and Catholic lay leaders in the Philippines and please consider a special contribution to support their efforts. As always, your financial gifts are tax deductible and will be used to effectively reach those who need help most. Thank you and God bless!
