Position Title: Parish & Community Services (PCS) Initiative Coordinator
Department: Parish & Community Services, CSCD Division
Reports to: Relationship Development Manager

Education or Certification Requirements:
Associates Degree or commensurate experience Experience Requirements:
  •  •  Minimum of 3 to 5 years of fundraising experience for a non-profit or equivalent experience in a related field.
  •  •  Computer skills: strong proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Characteristics:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required/Preferred:
  •  •  Demonstrated high level of understand and aptitude for cutting-edge systems, techniques and tools used in engagement, management and training of volunteers.
  •  •  Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision.
  •  •  Ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels; conducts self in polite and professional manner.
  •  •  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  •  •  Ability to load and unload cargo, delivering pallets to warehouse and other locations.
  •  •  Ability to drive commercial truck, operate forklift and pallet jack.
  •  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak eloquently about the work Cross Catholic is doing and the value of donor involvement.
  •  •  Ability to be friendly, personable, and persuasive with schools, parishes and potential donors.
  •  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously while effectively prioritizing service requests and following up on initial contacts with schools, parishes and potential donors.
  •  •  Ability to interact well with all levels of personnel and with external constituents.
  •  •  Sensitivity to confidential information and situations.
  •  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  •  •  Ability to track tasks and action items with effective follow-through.
  •  •  Ability to keep clear records of projects, decisions, and progress.
  •  •  Excellent organization and problem solving skills.
  •  •  Ability to meet specific goals set by Sr. Director, Directors and Managers.
  •  •  Active U.S. passport and driver’s license.
  •  •  Willingness and availability to work nights and weekends and extended hours as needed.
  •  •  Ability to apply organizational skills when given a project; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  •  Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the You(th) vs. Hunger and other PCS initiatives.
  •  •  Prepare for and supervise all volunteer activities at the You(th) vs. Hunger Food Packing events.
  •  •  Management and requisition of supply and equipment inventory for events.
  •  •  Provide high level of supervision and coaching to staff members and volunteers concerning event details.
  •  •  Contribute to Development staff’s strategic plans and initiatives to accomplish measureable goals.
  •  •  Manage event logistics, including social media, photography and videography aspects.
  •  •  Assist when necessary with the Box of Joy ministry and other PCS initiatives.
  •  •  Guest or keynote speaker opportunities associated with PCS fundraising initiatives.
  •  •  International travel to accompany CCO groups on mission or vision trips as necessary.
  •  •  Domestic travel to coordinate and/or attend events in U.S. parishes and schools.
  •  •  Uphold process protocols for organization and department related to donor records and accurate documentation of all interactions with donors.
  •  •  Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, notes, and event data.
  •  •  Assist with coordination and shipping of promotional banners, conference supplies and event materials.
  •  •  Other duties as assigned.
